A Nautilus Welfare Fund staff member has cycled 200 miles to raise money for the charity's retired seafarers.
Connor Dunphy, a kitchen porter for the Nautilus Care Home at the Mariners' Park Estate complex in Wallasey, completed 200 miles on his bicycle throughout October, with the use an app to record targets.
Money raised will go towards the residents' Activities Fund at the home.
His challenge started when he downloaded cycle app 'Race at Your Pace' and was inspired to help the residents, said care home activities co-ordinator Nicola Burns.
She will now liaise with the residents as to what activities they want to spend the money on.
